Dr Reza Vaziri (MD) graduated from Azad Medical University of Tehran, Iran in 2001. He moved to UK three years later to pursue specialist training in pathology. Following successful completion of examinations for GMC registration, he was appointed as year 1 trainee in Histopathology in the Oxford School of Histopathology in 2005.

 

He moved to London in 2006 as an Academic Clinical Fellow in Histopathology and was awarded the medal of research in histopathology by the Royal College of Pathologist for his paper on breast cancer. He achieved his certificate of completion of speciality training in Histopathology in July 2012 and successfully completed a PGCert in genomics at the University of Birmingham in May 2020.

 

His has held a consultant post at Worcestershire Royal Hospital as a substantive and full-time consultant histopathologist at for the more than a decade. He is the lead for breast cancer MDT and screening programme) and co-lead for lung cancer.
