Product of the Month: Tropic Lashful Eyelash Growth Serum
The skin around our eyes is delicate, so it makes sense to look carefully at anything we apply close to the lash line. This month’s featured product is Tropic Lashful Eyelash Growth Serum, a new formula designed to support the natural lash cycle without hormone disruptors or prostaglandins.

Rather than trying to force rapid growth, Lashful works with the different stages of the lash cycle, helping lashes appear longer, stronger and fuller over time. Its Keraful360™ Complex combines seven targeted ingredients, including biomimetic plant peptides to support the natural growth cycle, panthenol to condition the lashes and help reduce breakage, and hyaluronic acid to keep them soft and hydrated.
The prostaglandin-free formulation is an important point of difference. Lash serums are applied very close to the eyes, and many people understandably want to know exactly what they are using in this sensitive area. Lashful is also ophthalmologically tested and described by Tropic as suitable for sensitive eyes. As an ophthalmologist, I am particularly conscious of this, which is why the formulation of a lash serum matters just as much as the results it promises.

In an independent clinical study, 95 per cent of participants saw visibly longer lashes after four weeks, while 90 per cent reported stronger lashes with less fall-out and 95 per cent felt their lashes were better conditioned. These were average results, of course, and individual experiences will vary.
The dual-ended applicator makes the serum easy to use. Apply the domed tip along clean, dry upper and lower lash lines, then use the small conditioning brush to comb the formula through the lashes from root to tip. For the best chance of seeing a difference, Tropic recommends applying it morning and evening and allowing it to dry fully before using mascara.
It may be a particularly appealing option for anyone whose lashes have begun to feel more fragile or sparse, or who simply wants to improve their natural condition without relying on hormones or prostaglandins. You can shop via my Tropic ambassador store or at my Worcester clinic.
